Pheasant, Grouse & Turkey Hunting Trips in South Dakota


I truly believe that we have some of the best native bird hunting in South Dakota. We hunt all wild birds to make your hunt truly memorable.

With over 1,000 acres or great Pheasant hunting and Grouse hunting habitat, you are likely to see a days limit of birds in just one field!!

Our hunts will take place on some great South Dakota hunting ground. A majority of our land that we hunt will be in slough bottoms, tree groves, and selected food plots that draw the wild pheasants in.

You could also hunt on one of our many grass fields that are used by our wild pheasants for nesting and breeding along with a lot of grouse coveys.

If you have dogs you can bring them but if not we have some top guide dogs.

With over 15 combined years in the guiding business, we are here to show you a good time and get you in front of a lot of birds!

The general pheasant season starts the 3rd Saturday in October and lasts till late December.

Our hunts will take place in Charles Mix & Davison counties area, between the cities of Geddes and Armour.

Merriam turnkey hunting in South Dakota with MVGS

We offer spring and gall Merriam Turkey hunting trips. We hunt the Missouri River hills, which are teaming with wild turkeys. MVGS success rate is 100% on all our turkey hunts.
