Ohio Hunting guides and Fishing Guides web site

We are 1/2 mile from PA State Game Lands Area 049, a very short walk and easy access. This area is not heavily hunted and consists of a 2000 acre tract. The land supports some good white tailed deer hunting with lots of turkey, rabbit, squirrel, and some grouse.

We also have some nearby fishing and canoeing on the Potomac River (MD or WV license required) along with some good Trout Fishing in some nearby stocked streams in Pennsylvania. We are only 1/2 hour from public hunting in Maryland and West Virginia.

The mountains are filled with redbuds and dogwoods in the spring. Early summer brings the mountain laurel. Fall offers glorious colors and winter pristine snow covered fields. There are many different varieties of wildflowers and edible berries, too. On a clear night, there are more stars visible than you thought possible.

We invite you to enjoy our relaxed atmosphere and sincere hospitality. We are an environment friendly operation and try to make as little impact on the land as possible. We encourage our guests to experience a farm/ranch way of living and use the opportunity to learn a new way of life.

Hunting / Fishing Stay
  • Cost = $75.00 / person plus tax
Package includes 3 meals and lodging and there is plenty to eat and diet requests/restrictions can be accommodated.

Supper/Breakfast Trail Ride
  • Cost = $150.00 / person
Arrive in the afternoon and enjoy a 75-90 minute horseback ride. Have dinner later on in the evening. After breakfast the next morning, enjoy another 75-90 minute ride.

Trail Riding - 3 Day Special
  • Cost = $250.00 / person
Arrive at the ranch at your leisure and spend 3 days and two nights enjoying the countryside. The first day you will have dinner. After breakfast the second day we will saddle up for a 2 hour trail ride. Back at the ranch you are free to hike, read, nap, swim, get in the hot tub, or relax - whatever your pleasure until lunch and dinner. On the third day, after breakfast, enjoy another 1 ½ hour trail ride.

Within a very short drive from the ranch, you can find fishing (with state license), antique and craft shops, the C&O Canal Towpath, Rails to Trails, tennis, golf, skiing, canoeing, bicycle rentals, outlet malls, snow tubing, spas and massages.

We are near Bedford Village, Western Maryland Scenic Railroad and Whitetail Ski Resort. Drive a little farther and you will find Lakemont and Bland’s Amusement Parks, Falling Waters and more ski resorts
