About Us
Montana Hunting guides and Fishing Guides web site
Montana is known for its big game hunting, fly-fishing, and outdoor adventures, and Absaroka-Beartooth Outfitters is known for its passionate and charismatic outfitter and guides. ABO has been providing hunting, fishing and wilderness adventures for more than 30 years and our reputation for professionalism, safety, fun, great food, challenging hunts, abundant fishing and comfortable accommodations is well deserved. We offer a wide variety of trips for both the experienced sportsman and the adventuresome who is looking to experience Montana for the first time.

ABO proudly offers elk, deer, bighorn sheep, and mountain goat hunting in the greater Yellowstone area. Our hunting guides are experienced outdoorsmen who know our wilderness areas extremely well and will hunt as hard as you choose to hunt!

When it comes to fly-fishing, ABO offers clear streams, high country lakes and rivers that are among the most prolific and beautiful in the country. Our fishing areas are remote, pristine and inhabited by a very healthy, native cutthroat trout population.

Our camp, located eight miles north of Yellowstone National Park in the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness, is only accessible by horseback. You will ride through some of the most scenic country in America. The wildlife is abundant and diverse, the meadows lush with wildflowers. Many of our guests enjoy this part of their adventure as much as the hunting and fishing. Our experienced and accommodating guides will escort you every step of the way.

Our camp accommodations include comfortable, spacious, carpeted, wall tents with wood stoves, cots with foam pads, a hot shower, a roaring campfire and delicious, hearty meals prepared by our camp cook. If you're not a hunter or an angler, you can enjoy a number of ABO's other exciting wilderness adventures. We offer horseback riding, hiking, sightseeing and photography trips into our remote backcountry. You'll ride trails through some of the most remote and magnificent wilderness in the United States.

Availability is limited, so book your trip early. Visit www.absarokabeartooth.com to learn more!
