Alaska Big Game Hunting is a privately owned and operated personalized hunting business based in Dillingham Alaska, the Heart of Bristol Bay.  I live, hunt, fish, trap and fly in my guide area.  The land and wildlife are my livelihood.  By only taking a few customers a year I maintain at or near 100% success on all species and work very hard at 100% customer satisfaction.  I am personally involved with all hunts and take great pride in the trophies our clients harvest from this renewable natural resource.

Our prehunt planning and scouting of our game, habitat and movements allows us to put you in the right place at the right time.  Then, our knowledgeable guides will assist you in harvesting that trophy of a lifetime.

Using spot-n'-stalk and calling techniques our hunters are taking big bulls. Our clients have harvested bulls in the range from 57" to 69".

The Mulchatna herd is a big (150,000+) and growing herd that produces world class Caribou every year.  With lots of animals, opportunity and our 2 Caribou areas, nearly all of our clients get a good bull, or two!

Spring or Fall is a great opportunity for a big Brownie.  Spring hunts are early, we hunt them as they emerge from their dens.  A physically demanding hunt in mountainous terrain, snowshoes and often bad weather.  Fall hunts are generally less physical as we hunt along Salmon streams and berry patches.  This is a good opportunity for Archery hunters

There are a few "isolated pockets" of good Black bear hunting in our area.  We focus on these "pockets" for some great blueberry fed bears.  Our Black bears are black, little or no chance at a "colored" bear.  A good add-on species to another hunt.
