We are a family run business located in Central Newfoundland, Canada with over 60 years combined experience. We work hard to cater to each individual hunter no matter their age or physical condition to ensure a safe and successful hunt.

We have a separate log style cabin for guests which is equipped with indoor plumbing/shower and hot/cold running water, generated electricity. The living area overlooks our beautiful river from where game is often seen. We have separate cabins for guides and outfitter as well as a separate cook house. All meals are homemade and prepared fresh daily by our on site cook.

Newfoundland black bear hunting guides

Guides are very courteous, good woodsmen, who have excellent knowledge of our hunting area which shows by our success rates year after year. Our knowledge of big game hunting will help to ensure a most memorable hunt and one that will make you want to return. Many of our clientele have been returning regularly for many years.

All hunts are based on 1:1 unless specified and most hunts are spot and stalk with some calling during the rut. We hunt different terrain from dry wooded areas to wet boggy areas and around lakes and rivers. We also have ATVs, 4x4 trucks, and boats etc. for transportation to and from hunting areas.

There is an on site screen house for hanging of game. Game/trophy preparation, caping, and skinning is done by our guides and there is a local butchers avail bale if requested.
